Jia Mustafa is simply enjoying her work, courtesy the varying shades she gets to portray in every episodic story that comes her way. After playing a college going girl who tries her level best to gain an upper hand over her friends at the college elections in an episodic of Life OK’s Savdhan India, Jia will now be seen in an episodic tale in Colors’ Code Red – Chakravyuh (Optimystix Entertainment).

The story will revolve around two girls who would be the thickest of friends, until a guy enters their lives. While Jia will play one of the girls, Rinki Singhvi who was seen in Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story will play her friend. Marathi actor Niranjan will play the guy who would create trouble in the paradise of the two friends.

When contacted, Jia confirmed the news saying, “I will not want to spoil the fun by revealing the story. All I can say is that this is a very interesting story. I am presently shooting for it.”

This episodic tale will be aired soon on Colors.

Colors’ Balika Vadhu, as we know, will take an 11 years leap, post which the story line will re-track to the main concept of child marriage and its after-effects.

With a young new generation of kids coming into the show, there is a lot of expectation among viewers to witness the next big phase in this popular Sphere Origins show.

Tellychakkar.com recently reported about Chak Dhoom Dhoom winner Sparsh Shrivastav playing the role of Kundan, the boy who would wed Anandi’s (Toral Rasputra) daughter.

Now, we have got to know that noted child actor Viren Vazirani who was seen essaying the role of Vihaan in Channel V’s Suvreen Guggal Topper of the Year will play an important part.

As per a reliable source, “Viren has been finalized to play the role of Shivam, Anandi’s son. As we know, Anandi gave birth to twins, of which one was a boy and the other a girl. And Viren will play the boy who would be with his mother, post the kidnapping drama of his twin sister.”

Viren has also done the popular SAB TV show, Baal Veer.

Sanskaar famed actress Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who will soon be seen in upcoming Colors show Swaragini (Rashmi Sharma Productions), is nowadays developing a taste for Bengali foods.

The actress, who recently paid a visit to the city of joy for the shooting of her upcoming daily, enjoyed some street food of the city and authentic Bengali cuisine, which has made her drool over Bong cuisine.

When we caught up with the actress, she chatted, “After my visit to Kolkata, I have now developed a taste for Bengali food. During my visit, I have tasted street foods like Fuchka, Rolls and other foods. Being a hard core non-vegetarian I have definitely enjoyed some authentic non-veg cuisines”.

Set in Kolkata, Tejaswi’s character will be of a traditional Marwari girl, who will be obedient to her grandmother and father.

Speaking about her character, she said, “I will be essaying an obedient young girl who will be concerned about her family and love them dearly. Though she will curious about the reason behind the fight between her and Swara’s family, she will never question her elders about it.”

Her character Ragini will also be seen as an individual trained in classical music and Sitar. And Tejaswi herself being a trained singer commented, “As I am trained in classical music I did not have to put much effort. Moreover, the city, in which the show is set against, is known for its cultural heritage, so, it was a fine experience all together”.

Tejaswi also candidly added that doing another serial on Colors after Sanskaar is like homecoming for her.

Having portrayed action-packed roles on Arjun, Jodha Akbar and Akbar Birbal, Ketan Karande will be seen in a completely different avatar on SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar (Garima Productions).

Enjoying his stint as Saandeshwar, the character of a bull, Ketan shared, “He is a simple, dim-witted person who is powerful yet a child at heart. He loves his family and friends and can go to any level to protect them.”

When asked if offers to him get stereotyped due to his body-builder image, he said, “It does but then I can’t expect to get roles of a college going boy. I have actually put sweat and blood to my body and love flaunting it. Today, more and more actors are getting into the fit zone, so I am happy to be able to get such roles!”

When asked what makes Ketan angry in life, he said, “I am not a violent person in real life but yes, when I am hungry, I get really cranky and angry.”

Body-building and wrestling might seem like a blooming industry, but the actor doesn’t feel so, “In India, sport like cricket is important. But despite that people are getting interested in fitness and it is a good trend. I think everyone of us should maintain a healthy lifestyle and believe in complete well being.”

The actor also shared that he is being asked for health tips wherever he goes. “Everyone today wants a fit body and I am bombarded with questions on what one should eat and what kind of exercises would help. I feel good about this development. I think Karan Singh Grover in TV and Salman Khan in Bollywood have the best physiques.”

And finally, talking about shows, Ketan is happy doing comedy as he enjoys watching them too. “Action sequences do interest me but I love watching comedy shows. In our daily lives, we are bogged down by stress so much that watching the same drama on TV is boring!”

The dramatic plot of Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon…Ek Baar (Sphereorigins) is becoming more intensifying with each passing episode.

Previously viewers have seen how Aastha, now known as Sapna (Shrenu Parikh), managed to get the contract to Niranjan (Manish Wadhwa) by prying upon Indrajeet (Arav Chowdharry). The loss was immense for Indrajeet and Thakkur Maa (Dolly Minhas) and they would be left fuming in anger.

And now in a quest to find out the reason behind their loss, Thakkur Maa will get the tender files of both the parties. Finding that they had quoted just 50 paisa less than what Niranjan did, she will come to a conclusion that it is either Sapna or Balwankar (Avinash Sachdev) who might have managed to get the details.

Shares a source, “Thakkur Maa will be sure that someone close to Indrajeet has caused the loss. And now she will hatch a plan to get hold of the culprit.”

Thakkur Maa will leave evidences of another contract among Indrajeet’s files. And as per her plan, Sapna would get interested in them and keep a loop on the contracts.

Kunal Pant and Chestha Bhagat will feature in this week’s upcoming episodic tale on Sony Entertainment Television’s Bhanwar (Contiloe Productions).

The story will revolve around an under confident and shy guy who would get stalked by a girl, who would later fall for him. However, the man will be shocked to know that the girl is actually an escort and that is the reason why she developed a liking for him. However, the story will progress creating an angle of intrigue whether the girl is actually an escort or not.

When contacted, Kunal told us, “It is a very interesting role as I play a low status nerdy guy who is not wanted by any girl. To understand the psyche of a person who is unwanted was indeed interesting. I got the look and body language to support that.”

Chestha too said, “It is a gripping and scheming story. I enjoyed shooting for it.”

The episodic will be aired this Friday (27 February).

Vineet and Rajshri hail from the small town of Fatehpur (UP). Their roots are middle class. Vineet few years back shifted to Mumbai and started working in the television industry. He worked his way up to become one of the noted casting directors.

Vineet and Rajshri had an arranged marriage on19 November 2008.

The two shifted to Mumbai where they started living happily. The home had Vineet, his mom and Rajshri.

After a couple of years, Rajshri started showing interest in acting. Vineet, an established casting director by then, started to groom her.

He helped her bag a few episodics and finally, roped her as the lead in Suhani Se Ek Ladki, where Vineet was working as the head casting director.

Says Vineet: “Things changed soon after. Around September 2014, Rajshri became very cold towards me. She used to shoot, return and go to sleep. No conversation, nothing. The cold vibes in our relationship developed a fissure. Someone whom I helped to grow, started disliking me. I cast her in Suhani. Is it easy to get a lead in a Star Plus show? Finally, on 26 January (2015), we had a fight and she left home. Since then, I have tried my best for a rapprochement. But communication from her side has stopped. I have no idea where or with whom she is staying. I just want a closure on it. Whatever be it. I have never spoken about our marriage till now for her career sake. But now, enough is enough.”

When we spoke to Rajshri she said: “This is a difficult time for me. It’s a personal matter. I have nothing else to say.”

Well, hope sun shines again on Vineet and Rajshri and they find solace in life.

Talented and good looking actor Aly Goni, who is currently seen in Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is celebrating his birthday today (25 February). Tellychakkar.com spoke to the young lad to know more about his celebration plans.

Aly averred, “Last night I was not in a mood to celebrate but my lovely fans made my birthday very special. They poured their love through social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). They made some amazing videos and photo collages. My fans made my birthday really very special and I am overwhelmed by their love and support I want to thank all of them.”

Talking about the on-set celebration he said, “Today (Shahnaz Rizwan) Mrs. Bhalla treated everyone on lunch on behalf of me. The channel, Karan (Patel) and my other co-star brought me cakes and now we will celebrate on the set.”
