We now talk of their partners in crime, the men who get to their villainous best and torture one and all in shows. Yes, they are the actors who make the good men look really good by troubling the ladies, and putting the hero in a spot of bother.

And here are the nominations for the category of Actor in a Negative Role in the 13^th Indian Telly Awards (in alphabetical order).

Avinesh Rekhi as Akbar came in a bit later into the team of Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap as replacement to Kripp Suri. However, the man carved a niche for himself, and stood his ground as the mighty and powerful Akbar. His eyes speak volumes and his good physique and appearance made for a really entertaining Akbar on the show.

Aarya Babbar as Raavan, has done a swell job in Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman. His gigantic appearance, cruel face expressions have given him great response from viewers. Indeed, he has been the charm of the show, is what we can say.

Dayashanker Pandey as Bilasi of Badii Devrani has been a real performer. He indeed made viewers laugh with his funny histrionics, made them cry with his ruthless behavior and even made them angry when he troubled the lady of the house. Dayashanker is a class act and he proved just that…

Harsh Chhaya as Samarth in Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh was the best example of how a husband should not be. His attitude, powerful persona coupled with the tyranny he meted on his wife, played by Sonali Bendre indeed brought about sad and emotional scenes which filled the audience with sorrow.

Sai Ballal as the cruel and evil-minded Kamal Narayan in Udann is yet again a character that will be etched for a while in the audiences mind as the terrorizing villain of the small screen. His dirty and menacing attitude towards the little Chakor really brings out tears in the eyes of audiences.

Bollywood actress Kajol will be taking the small screen route to promote her forthcoming entertainer “Dilwale”.

She will feature in a cameo on Star Plus’ show “Saath Nibhana Saathiya“, and will be seen spreading love. Kajol’s character will try to unite two lovers on the show.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who plays Gopi in the show, says she’s a fan of “Dilwale” stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol ever since they featured together as Raj and Simran in the iconic film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (DDLJ).

“For me, SRK and Kajol have always meant Raj and Simran from ‘DDLJ’. I have grown up watching the movie and have waited for my Raj all these years,” Devoleena said in a statement.

Kajol will shoot with the cast of the show in the first week of December.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Dilwale” also stars actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. The film is slated to hit the theatres on December 18.

Fans of Colors’ popular daily Swaragini (Rashmi Sharma Telefilms) can expect some more drama soon. Brace yourself as we are about to spill the details on the epic fall out of telly’s favorite sisters.

As per our sources, “Post Ragini’s (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) kidnap, Maheshwari family members would doubt Swara (Helly Shah) of being behind this demeaning act because of the long stretched fight between the sisters. And to make matters worse , Ragini would also blame Swara for the same.”

Yes, the beloved younger sister Ragini would soon be freed from the clutches of her kidnappers. Lakshya (Namish Taneja) and Sanskar (Varun Kapoor), in order to aid Swara, would locate Ragini and take her home. Upon reaching the place, she would start behaving as if she was really scared of Swara. This will make others suspicious about Swara being the one behind Ragini’s abduction.

Oh no, again some blame game in the series?

It’s total ‘Tamasha’ on the sets of Colors’ Comedy Nights Bachao with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone gracing it.

Bharti Singh is known for her interesting nok-jhoks, but in this episode, she will surprisingly be at the receiving end. And it will be Krushna Abhishek who will be on top.

Well, it will so happen that Krushna will mock at Bharti saying she resembles one of the goons in Chennai Express. To this, Bharti will also come up with a stunning reply that he too looks like a gunda.

With Deepika asking Krushna whether he was really part of the film, Bharti will yet again hit on him saying, ‘Nahi woh audition main hi reject ho gaya tha!!’.

Krushna will immediately defend himself saying he has some effective cameo roles in movies to his credit. Ranbir will soon join the act saying Krushna need not bother as there is a famous song tailor-made for Bharti, ‘Heer toh badi sad hai’…

Upon hearing this, Bharti will get everyone in splits as she will put up a very sad and grim face. And to entertain her, Ranbir and Krushna will get into some dance moves, while Deepika will be seen consoling a crying Bharti…

Promoting their upcoming flick, Karan Singh Grover, Daisy Shah and Zareen Khan will soon make an appearance on the sets of Comedy Nights with Kapil.

And when Kapil’s dysfunctional family will meet the popular actors, we can surely expect some rib tickling moments.

Zee TV, one of most viewed channel on Indian television, is known for its poignant diverse shows, is all set for programming changes in its fiction line up.

According to our sources, shows between 6 to 9 pm slots will now air from Monday to Saturday. That means shows namely Satrangi Sasural, Sarojini, Kaala Teeka, Qubool Hai, Tashan-e-Ishq and Jamai Raja will now air on Saturday as well.

Another show which is going for programming changes is Garima Productions’ Neeli Chatri Wale.

The show will now telecast only once a week i.e. on a Sunday from 8 to 9 pm.

While there were speculations about actor Kit Harington’s return to the upcoming sixth season of fantasy drama TV series “Game of Thrones”, the makers have made it official that his character Jon Snow is alive and will return to TV in April next year.

The show’s official Twitter feed posted a photograph of Harington in character with a bloodied face. Simply captioned ‘April’ in a clear reference to the season six air date fans have been waiting for, the image is dark, moody, and exciting, reports independent.co.uk.

Jon Snow was last seen looking decidedly dead after being stabbed by his own Night’s Watch comrades for being a “traitor” during the “Battle of Hardhome” in the season five finale and since then, there has been speculations about what this could mean for the future storyline.

There were rumours abound over whether or not the much-loved character would make a comeback. Harington was later spotted on set in Northern Ireland in costume.

“Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over,” he said in September.

An exact air date for season six is yet to be announced.

As real as it can get:
The lead pair’s love, which has seen ups and downs, is relatable and real. Sometimes, two people grow apart not because their love has died, but due to unforeseen circumstances and situations. That’s exactly what happened with Neil and Ragini. Even though their love for each other is strong and their feelings intact, they had to walk away from each other in order to come together later. How many of us have had to face such a similar situation? Yes, many of us.

Values intact:
Despite your minor altercations, you’re ready to overlook your partner or spouse because you know how important the right upbringing of your child is. Your personal matters should never reflect on the child. Neil and Ragini put aside their differences to make their daughter’s wedding an epic affair. They made sure that their precious little princess had both her parents present on her big day. Isn’t this value an important aspect of every relation? We wish to learn more such lessons from the makers…bring on the second season, already!

Reinstating our faith in marriages:
Marriage, as an institution, is slowly losing its sheen. People are running away from the whole ‘commitment’ business as it invariably ends up in break ups. But this show aims to reinstate our faith in the institution of marriage. As the story follows the love of a couple, separated for fifteen long years, but together at their daughter’s marriage. If we wish, we can make the wrongs right. Isn’t it?

Parents set an example:
The crux of the show is that divorces happen between a couples and not between parents and children. It’s an important thought because parents forget that their kids need both the father and the mother to grow up fine. This show emphasises this without overshadowing the core issue of ‘rediscovering love’.

Gorgeous and stunning Payal Rohatgi who was last seen in Sony TV’s 2025 Jaane Kya Hoga Aage will soon be seen in a different avatar in &TV’s Agent Raghav (Contiloe).

The actress will be seen in an interesting character of a bar dancer, who would be the prime suspect in the murder backdrop story. Payal’s character will be seen moving to some peppy dance numbers like Chikni Chameli and Lovely.

Talking about the entire sequence she shared, “I enjoy dancing, so I kind of liked the whole package of story. Although I had a tragic experience when I suffered rashes because of the sequenced blouse. To get the look of a dancer, the stylist had included a lot of sequenced stuff in my costumes.”

She further shared about her costar, “Sharad Kelkar is a good actor and a nice human being. It was fun working with him. The channel found my face too classy for the character but I guess my stylist and creative got the look right.”

Vrinda made official her relationship on 22 April with Bhavin Mehta in a gol dhana ceremony in Gujarat.

The family decided on a private engagement ceremony to officialise their relationship. And yesterday (22 November), the couple exchanged rings amidst family and close friends.

When we buzzed Vrinda, she thanked us for the wishes.

Vrinda’s close friend Firoza (Khan) shared, “Vrinda and Bhavin were looking super cute. It was an engagement cum sangeet ceremony as there were a lot of performances. The D3 gang and few close friends were present. Bhavin is a true gentlemen and he is down to earth. He performed on Tu Chahiye song for Vrinda, and she was in tears as it was something special for her. All our good wishes with you guys.”
