When the actor along with colleague Irrfan Khan came on the sets of “The Kapil Sharma Show” to promote their forthcoming film “Madaari”, Jimmy shared how his name was changed.

“While shooting for my first film ‘Maachis’, my character name was Jimmy and I liked that name very much,” Jimmy said in a statement.

He added: “Everyone around me started calling me Jimmy and hence I changed my name to Jimmy from Jasjit. Even today the starting credits of the movie ‘Maachis’ mention my name as Jasjit Singh Gill But then onwards I changed my name to Jimmy.”
The episode with the stars will air on Sunday on Sony Entertainment Television.

Why did SwaSan fans bash Anuj Sachdeva?

The actor was at the receiving end of fan bashing on a micro-blogging site.

Never in his wildest dreams would have Anuj assumed that a simple joke that he cracked in a television interview would land him into so much of trouble. The actor was at the receiving end of bashing by Swara and Sanskaar’s (SwaSan) fans.

What exactly did Anuj do to infuriate the SwaSan fans?
In a recent interview to a television portal, Anuj jokingly said – “Aakhir 2 ladke Swara ke peechhe pagal kyun ho rahe hai, aisa kya hai? Sanskaar bhi pagal ho raha hai, Sahil bhi pagal ho raha hai. Koi nayi ladki laao yaar.”
This casual remark of his didn’t really go well with the Swasan fans and landed him in a mess. The loyal fans bashed Anuj and wrote nasty things about the actor.

When we contacted Anuj this is what he had to say, “I meant it as a joke. I usually create a story in my interviews and if you see my previous ones also, you will understand. Even Sanskaar does this, but then may be just because I play the bad guy on the show, they have taken my comment to the heart.”

When quizzed about how did Helly and Varun react to this controversy, Anuj told us,”They were actually laughing hard. We all sit together and have fun on the sets. We did have a good laugh over this one.”

Well, what can we say Anuj, guess this is the price you pay for trying to separate television’s two most loved lovebirds, albeit on-screen.

The actress will enter as Sindoori and her entry will set in motion a love triangle between herself, Dhairya (Ayaz Ahmed) and Santoshi (Ratan Rajput). Sindoori, will be a head strong girl, but will be craving for love. She will ultimately be seen falling for Dhairya.

Khushboo Tawde’s new look in TV show inspired from ‘Piku’

Actress Khushboo Tawde, who will next be seen as Dr. Nandini in “Tere Bin,” says her character’s dressing style in the upcoming TV show has been inspired from Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone’s look in the 2015 comedy-drama film “Piku.”

“I have never played a doctor and such a complicated character earlier. Though it’s on the lines of Deepika’s look from ‘Piku,’ I have tried to give a personal touch to my character — Dr. Nandini,” Khushboo, who has previously appeared in shows like “Tere Liye” and “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, said in a statement.

“Tere Bin,” which will also feature Gaurav Khanna and Shefali Sharma, will take viewers into the world of sacrifices and show what happens when you come across your first love after moving ahead in life.
The show will be aired on &TV starting from July 18.

Raja and Rani re-create the “Aashiqui” moment in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani!

Viewers will be treated to an Aashiqui 2 moment soon in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.

The post leap storyline of Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani has been well received by the audience. And the chemistry of the lead pair Sartaj Gill and Eisha Singh is being immensely loved by one and all. The audience has accepted them as wholeheartedly as they had received Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick.

Drashti was supposed to return to the show post leap but that did not happen for reasons unknown. That is when Ishq Ka Rang Safed fame Eisha Singh stepped in. And the grown up Raja and Rani a.k.a Sartaj Gill and Eisha Singh are killing it.

Raja (Sartaj Gill) and Rani (Eisha Singh) have learnt about each other’s real identities and the viewers are getting to see glimpses of chemistry between the duo. However, Bindu (Poonam Preet) has also been trying very hard to ensure that Raja and Rani do not come closer. And she implements a plan to humiliate Rani, however, the plan backfires on her.

Bindu sees Rani’s notes lying on the floor and in a bid to get her caught by the invigilator in the exam hall, she puts them in her bag. The invigilator catches Rani with the notes and accuses her of using unfair means to pass the exam.

However, Raja steps in the nick of time and takes the blame on himself. He reasons that he did so because he wanted to teach Rani a lesson that she does not belong here. Even though this makes Rani hate Raja, the examiner tears Raja’s exam sheets and asks him to leave the class.
However, after a little brain storming, Rani realises that Raja is innocent and goes to him to iron out their differences. But Raja is adamant on not listening to her and goes away. It an attempt to patch up with Raja at any cost, Rani stand all night outside the haveli. But with the rain pouring down, Rani gets drenched completely.
Seeing Rani in this state, Raja has a change of heart and goes out to talk to her and this is followed by their Aashiqui style romance.

We are sure that this would be one of the most awaited tracks in the show so far. Don’t you think so?

Another Karan to get Married!

Karan Sharma, who was last seen in ‘Mohi-Ek Khwab Ke Khilne Ki Kahani’ has been dating singer-turned-actress Tiaara Kar for quite some time. Only a few people knew that the duo secretly got engaged back in February, last year.

Karan, who was tongue-tied about his engagement until now, has finally decided to open up about his relationship.
Karan said, “I am one of those people, who does not let grass grow under my feet. That’s why when I realised that our relationship has reached a stage where we can take it to the next level, we decided to exchange the rings. Last year, we got engaged in the presence of our family members and very close friends.”

When quizzed, why he has kept his engagement tightly under wraps, Karan quipped, “To be very frank, there was no specific reason. I am a very private person when it comes to relationships. That’s why I haven’t told anybody.”
After almost one and a half years of courtship, the couple is planning to walk down the aisle. However, they have not zeroed in on a date for marriage. “It’s been 17 months since we got engaged, still it feels like it happened yesterday.”

Karan continued, “Long courtship period gave us ample time to understand each other. Although our parents are very practical and understanding, and never persuaded us for anything. But they want us to settle down as soon as possible. We are still figuring out the dates for marriage,” said Karan.
