There can’t be another Pammi or Dev: Sangita Ghosh

MUMBAI: Actress Sangita Ghosh says she is very attached to “Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand”, which premiered in 2001, and that she is sure there can’t be another Pammi or Dev — characters played by her and Varun Badola in the popular show.

It’s raining reboots and remakes on the small screen. Asked if she would like “Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand” to get a remake, Sangita told IANS: “I have a special bonding with that show. I am sure there can’t be another Pammi or Dev… the way Varun and I played the characters.

“If it is ever remade, maybe the names will be the same but the characters will be different. So, I don’t know. I am very attached to it so, I wouldn’t like to imagine it with someone else,” she added.

Sangita is currently seen in the show “Divya Drishti” as a ‘Pishachini’.

Pooja Banerjee wins Woman of the Match in the history of Box Cricket League!

MUMBAI: The beautiful Pooja Banerjee who is well known for her stints in Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai 2 streaming on ALTBalaji will now be showing her sportsmanship on the pitch of Box Cricket League. The digital platform which is well known for its engaging content will stream India’s first ever sports reality show- BCL. BCL will be also be seen on ALTBalaji app where six teams with 150 well-known television faces will compete against each other in what they call as the ‘Baap’ of all Reality Shows.

Pooja who is playing for the team Goa Killers has been lauded for being a talented sportswoman. She also won the Best Player of The Match along with Women of the Match! For the first time ever, a woman has won a player of the match in Box Cricket League.

Talking about her experience Pooja mentioned, “I was the connoisseur of all eyes at BCL! There was much pressure on me as it was a very critical moment for our team but it turned out to be a success. Though I have never played cricket earlier I enjoyed Box Cricket League. I had a hattrick for 6 sixes that even Ekta Kapoor applauded me for my performance.”

Talking about her injury at the match Pooja says, ‘’Once while making a run I fell flat on my face. I had my lips swollen and the fellow actors thought I had got a lip job done !”

MUMBAI: Former co-stars Vivek Dahiya and Aditi Bhatia soon will be seen in Colors’ celebrity cooking show, Kitchen champions.

Both Vivek and Aditi had worked together in the TV series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and now they will be seen together again but in a cooking show.

On Wednesday, Aditi took to her Instagram handle and shared some fun pictures from the sets of Kitchen Champions. Some of the pictures feature her posing like a diva, while the others feature her posing in a fun way with Vivek Dahiya and the host of the show, Aditya Narayan. She sported a blue and white checked dress which she teamed up with white shoes.

Both the actors were accompanied by their mothers and were pitted against each other for the crown of Kitchen Champions. Finally, Aditi and her mother won the crown.

MUMBAI: Saira Khan, who died on Friday due to a cardiac arrest, wanted to do a web series. But before she could turn her wish into reality, she left this world.

The actress had replaced Sherlyn Chopra in Kamasutra 3D, a film directed by Rupesh Paul. And according to a report in SpotboyE.com, Saira was eager to do a web series and called up Rupesh several times. She had learnt about the project from the movie circuit.

Rupesh told the portal, “Yes, she wanted a web series strictly with her in the lead. And I did tell her that I didn’t have a big male star opposite her which would make the project commercially viable.”

He continued, “Saira told me that she had a friend who could invest in the venture. I was still debating in my mind and then I got to know the dreadful news about her premature death. I am shocked beyond words.”
